Rotary International

Rotary started with the vision of Paul Harris, an attorney who formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, where professionals of diverse backgrounds could come and exchange ideas and form lifelong friendships. Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision extended to humanitarian service.

Today, Rotary International is a global network committed to addressing community and international challenges. Rotarians engage in projects that promote peace, eradicate disease and other vital services that reflects Rotary’s mission of making a meaningful difference in peoples’ lives.

Rotary Club

A Rotary club contains diverse group of professionals from the community that the club serves. Rotary International groups clubs into districts to make local administration easier. There are over 500 districts throughout the world, with a range of between 45-60 clubs each. Each district is led by a Governor, who is assisted by other officers.

Rotary Club Karachi New Central

Established in 2019 under the leadership of charter president Shanaz Ramzi, the Rotary Club Karachi New Central (RCKNC) operates within the Rotary International District 3271. The club is supported by committee chairs overseeing various activities.

RCKNC serves as a hub for individuals from diverse industries and professions, offering a comprehensive representation of the local business and professional landscape. This diversity fosters networking, collaboration, and exchange of ideas among members with varied backgrounds and expertise.

Dedicated to community service, RCKNC actively supports causes like healthcare, education, environment and water and sanitation. The club aims to a positive impact in these crucial areas, contributing to the well-being and development of local communities.

RCKNC's initiatives include organizing fundraising events, establishing partnerships and sponsorships, conducting awareness sessions, implementing community outreach programs, providing volunteer opportunities for members, offering skill development opportunities to individuals, and ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation of these endeavors.
