Activities - october 2023

RCKNC organized an interschool poster competition among 3 AF schools.

Health camp organized at Chanesar Goth

A Health camp was set up for the local community at Chanesar Goth, Karachi with the support of Defense Wing of Rangers and Essa Laboratory.

Joint guest speaker session

RCK Centennial and RCK South partnered for a dynamic guest speaker event, featuring the German Consul General introduced by Shanaz Ramzi, with Deputy General Rotary International 3271- Hanif Khan, fellow Rotarians and RCKNC club members in attendance.

Celebration of World Polio Day

RCKNC organized an Interschool poster competition on Polio among students from three Al-Furqan schools, following their attendance at a Polio awareness session. The students demonstrated their understanding of the disease through their creative artwork.

Interact Club Activity

Tree plantation and beach cleaning activities were organized by RCKNC in collaboration with WWF-Pakistan’s Wetland Centre at Sandspit for students and faculty of Al Furqan school, to promote environmental conservation, preserve coastal ecosystems and encourage a sense of responsibility towards the community.

Session on Mother and child health at Child life Foundation

Past President RCKNC Dr. Talat Rizvi, conducting an awareness session on mother and child health care and the importance of immunization of sick children who are brought to ChildLife Foundation at Civil Hospital’s emergency room.

Session on Malaria awareness at AF School, G Jauher

A session on Malaria awareness was conducted at AF School, G Jauher by Dr. Arjumand. The session aimed to emphasize proactive community efforts for Malaria eradication.

Guest Speaker & fellowship dinner

Fellowship dinner at RCKNC President Shanaz Ramzi’s residence where Brigadier Tariq Kadir, the  guest speaker, shared insights about the free of cost services of the  ‘Hope Ambulance’ in Sindh.
